The High Velocity Oxy Fuel process involves the controlled combustion of kerosene and oxygen.It uses the high kinetic energy of compressed gas and the thermal energy of combustion to produce coatings with very low porosity, high adhesion to the substrate and extremely low levels of surface roughness.

Plasma is a state of matter in which atoms are excited to form positive ions and free electrons.The plasma is applied by means of an electric arc confined by a gas flow.By using very high temperatures and speeds, it is possible to transform the ceramic powder on the surface to be coated.

This can be done by electric or gas arc.The coating material, in the form of wire, is inserted into a flame, and a stream of air is used to produce a spray of molten particles.Molybdenum, bronze, copper, white metal, nickel, stainless steel and alloys.

A powder feedstock, a spray gun and remelters are used. It is a cost-effective and good quality coating.
